I have tracked him down to [...]]]> In two days, my life will change.  I am taking a weeks leave from my practice at Tidewater Acupuncture & Wellness in Virginia Beach to  fly to San Diego California to begin formal Tea Master Training.   I will study with one of the most renown Tea masters in the United States.

I have tracked him down to teach me the skills required to understand tea at a very high level.  I have chosen the path of Tea to build my health, relax my body, and to transform my community.

Tea is simple,  life is complex.   Drinking Tea allows us to slow down and appreciate life with a relaxed frame of mind.  It brings transformation in every cup.

As I begin formal Tea master training, I will bring Tea culture to Hampton Roads like no other before me.  To all the Tea drinkers in Virginia Beach & Norfolk, We shall learn to track Tea together.  Observe its color, aroma, tastes, and natures.   We will explore how it can be combined with foods and drinks to complement the finest meal.  By tracking and understanding Tea, we will all have better way to appreciate life in general.

Tea is more than a healthy beverage,  It is a way of experiencing life.

Last evening I met with the De-stress Vets club.  We are Maiyah Olivas, Megan Kingsley Gale, and myself.  We took time to plan out our next community style acupuncture/meditation clinic for Military service members, their families, and care providers.  We have been offering these clinics in Virginia Beach since January and they are really taking off!

It is amazing how a nice cup of Japanese Sencha can boost productivity and focus at a late night meeting!

In just a few weeks I will be traveling away from my Acupuncture clinic off of First Colonial Road in VA Beach and from my Store at the Five Points Community Farmers Market in Norfolk to begin my formal training in becoming a Tea Master!  I will bring back to Hampton Roads the service of Tea that will not only bring us closer together as a community, but will improve our overall health!
